Howdy from New Orleans.. home of the Saints. WHO DAT who won the Superbowl!
I've worked in Windows networks and support for almost 20 years- yeah, white headed.I remember machines with 2 '5' inch drives and 512K RAM. And screens with green or amber characters. Starting to work in Linux.
Love what I do..except for the bleepin' , but that goes with the deal. Glad to be here!

Hello and welcome to Bleeping Computer.

Please take the time, to browse the New User Orientation forum, to help familiarize yourself with how the board works.

Also, don't forget to check out the Tutorials.
There's a lot of very useful information, in there.

I've sent you a PM

why won't my laptop work?

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around
Do not send me PMs with problems that should be posted in the forums. Keep it in the forums, so everyone benefits

Welcome to BC!
What about 7 1/2 inch floppies, or (shudder and scream if you happened to drop them on the floor) punch cards? Things have come a very long way since we were both just starting our love-hate relationship with computers.
Regards,
John
