Hello,

I've run into some problems with my computer. I noticed something called Your PC Protector popped up on my screen, so I tried to run MalwareBytes Anti-Malware but it won't open up. When I click MalwareBytes I get the following - "Windows is searching for mbam.exe".

So I found a suggestion to download Rkill, which I have done. That has stopped the Your PC Protector from popping up, but I'm still getting a strange message on my browser when I bring up legit websites (like Yahoo.com). Instead of showing the website, I get a red screen that says - "This Website has been reported as unsafe".

I'm still unable to open MalwareBytes. I've seen a post about renaming the file, but I'm not sure how to do that.

I would really appreciate any help.

Thanks,
egilley
