Help me to remove AZESEARCH PLEASE......

Hi,

Today, aze search toolbar was itself installed in my pc :thumbsup:.

PLEASE HLEP - I have no idea what to DO! I am very new to everything.

Please give me a STEP BY STEP Instruction and SAVE my computer from this.

I have downloaded HijackThis and saved it in C:\HijackThis folder. But i have no idea what to do now.


Please tell me what's next.

What is LOG file?

If you have not already installed Ad-Aware SE 1.06, please download and install AdAware SE 1.06.
Check Here on how setup and use it - please make sure you update it first.
And perform a scan, make sure you delete all the items in red

Restart your computer now.

If you have not already installed Spybot S&D 1.4
Download Spybot S&D, make sure you update it, and then perform a full scan, make sure you delete every item found.

Restart your computer now.

After your computer has restarted, Scan with hijack this and post your log here.

the following that we'll do, i will explain step by step for you

Go to the folder where you saved hijackthis
Doubleclick on the hijack this icon
Choose Do a systemscan and save a logfile
The program will do it's work and after a short time it will open a text document
Put your cursor in that textfile by clicking once, somewhere in the text.
Now press Control + A to select the whole text
Press Control + C to copy the text
And now go to this topic put your cursor where you want top put your log
and press Control + V to paste it in your answer


Please also do the following to see which programs need to be removed
  • Open HiJackThis
  • Click on the configure button on the bottom right
  • Click on the tab "Open the Misc Tools Session"
  • Click on the Box that says "Uninstall Manager"
  • Click on the button "Save list"
  • Copy and past the List onto your post
