Check out the Farmer's Almanac.......

Second week of February is supposed to see up to 18 inches of snow for the midwest and especially East.

They weren't far off on that.

Feb. 20-23 is supposed to see yet another major snowstorm before finally letting up.

July is supposed to be broiling hot. We've decided to plan our vacation during that month so we won't be at home running the A/C around the clock.

Don't mess with the Almanac!

You're in Laurel - nice. I'm in Columbia. We have 10" on my deck right now, and I'm about to go shovel for the second time.

I finished shoveling the first time at 8:40 - it was about 3 inches. Went out again at 11:45 and there were 6.5". Almost finished, but the conditions got too bad for me to keep up. There was a new half inch of snow on what I'd just shoveled!

We're probably at about 2-1/2 feet now. I just spent two hours shoveling and didn't get half the driveway cleared.

Yeah a few friends up in West "By God" Virginia and NoVA were complaining about the snow, but here we've become accustomed to snow screwing with us this year.

On top of th snow I got a broken nose, because I was putting snow on a mound in front of a car that was already snow packed in by others. Some dude came out of his apartment and tripped me and hit me while i was on the ground.

Around these parts we got just shy of 2'(feet),my in-laws got over 2'(feet), and we got more commin tuesday thru wednesday.....
I'm a lil ticked right now....My Father- in-law was hospitalized for some health issues, he got sprung today(YIPEEEE!!) Hid youngest son was tryin to clear their driveway so he could get out to go het his dad,the snow blower broke down on him,now their whole entire driveway is about 25 square feet and with both cars in it that takes up about 2/3rds of it, there were some young men lookin to pick up a few buck's shovelin snow in the neightborhood, so my brother-in-law hired them to finish what he started....they finished it and charged him $125.00, he was robbed at shovel point!!

@crytodan, i'm sorry you got a broke beak, that just stinks!
@ Blackspyder, west of us they lost power they had something like 30.000 customers out of power, some still don't have any yet....i worry about older foks and the sick and the tiny wee ones when this happens, thats got to be awful, as well as life threatenin!

We only got about 5 inches in northern NJ -- the worst of the storm was apparently from Philadelphia south.

But ... we've got quite a big storm being forecast for this Wednesday.
