HELP PLEASE!!! POSSIBLE MALICIOUS SOFTWARE!!!?
Some new kind of "Antivirus" as it claims to be but whenever I try and open task manager or Help while it's open it tells me they could be infected and blocks them and now it's stopping me from running a system restore, I started in safe mode this time around and I'm going to System Restore but I don't know if it will undo this program, here's the site livesoftcore.com

Antivirus Soft appeared on my computer telling me that I had a virus, and I believed it. But I found out it's fake and I can't remove it, or even try to! It randomly says things like "Application cannot be executed. The file ***** is infected. Do you want to activate your antivirus software now?" and this website comes up:
hxxp://livesoftcore.com/purchase?r=54.27
I cant even open up "My computer"! Please help!

me too, i have this problem!!! ive tried running malwarebytes and every other antivirus program known to man in safemode without any change! right now, i started up my computer normally and started the program IObit360 before the virus kicked in! so far its found only 1 threat and im hoping its the virus! but i cant use any other prograam now because the virus is kicked in, so u gotta hurry up and start a prgram before it kicks in!!
anyone else know how to defeat this!!! exactly its livesoftcore.microsoft and brings up viagra.com or porno.com ads, and has attention spyware alert icon in the middle of your screen and u cant move it! and plenty other bad bleep, like totally shutting down every program from working!
so far i know that this program didnt install on my computer, somehow its one of those flyby malware type things, ya know, that u get when u visit a website thats infected and automattically u got the bleep!! im pretty sure!

it has no official name!! just a red box in the middle saying "attention spyware alert" and then a box in the bottom right corner saying antivirus software alert , your computer being attacked by a trojan, do you want to block this attack?
anyone with any firm advice???

Have you gone through the guides for similar malware here? See http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-removal/

We, too, have been the unlucky recipient of this nasty virus! We went through the whole protocol in "mybleepingcomputer" and it still is there. We have Mcafee, sbybot, malware scans multiple times and are still unable to rid our computer. We did detatch our external hard drive in case it was lurking in there some where.

This one is just nasty and infuriating that Mcafee didn't stop it before hitting our computer!

Any ideas on what we should do next?

Count me in on this one. Last week I had the Antivirus Live Malware infect my computer and now this one is popping up. I've tried to run the same fixes but as soon as I reload my computer it pops right up again. I am not computer savy but hope to find a fix... Thanks in advance for any input!

FYI I just ran an update on the Malwarebytes Anti-malware program and then redid the instructions from here using the rkill.com and it seems to have fixed my computer.
