Multiple file failures - suspicious files. Have I been bamboozled?

Keep getting random file crashes..... nslookup.exe, ipconfig.exe, etc keeps erroring with "Application Error" yet I'm not starting them. One suspicious file C:\WINDOWS\itufesed.dll
