I'm currently running widows vista, and recently I started getting a pop up saying this exactly.

"Application cannot be executed. The file wuauclt.exe is infected. Do you want to activate your antivirus software now?"

along with that I can't open just about nothing at all on my computer, including internet browsers. Although Internet Explorer opens, but It directs me to "Livesoftcore.microsoft.com/block.php?r=62.12" and I cannot leave.

I've tried getting rid of it, but so far no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
