I rkilled a virus on my computer, and then looked around for the exe. after hours of fruitless searching, I came to hlbsftav, which I believe was an exe, in a folder that looked like a random letters folder. fcsqai If I remember correctly. In the removal guide of antivirus soft, a ransomware program, it said that there may be an exe in application data, in a random folder which says sftav.exe. what I deleted was hlbsftav.exe, as you can see, the same letters are in there, just with a few extras in front. I want to make sure I deleted the right one, because while Rkill will stop the virus running, MalwareBytes anti malware wont detect ANY viruses on my computer.

thanks in advance for any replies. I'm sure they will be helpful.

oh, and just incase you need to know this, my computer specs are:

MSI P7N motherboard
Intel e8400 core 2 duo @ 3.00 ghz
2 GB ram
Dual XFX geforce 9800 gt graphics cards running in SLI
