I can't play my .avi files on my Samsung series 5 hdtv. The manual says the t.v only supports .jpg and .mpg files.
Is there a way to convert the .avi files to the .mpg format ?

If the AVI files are DivX encoded, they will play on any DVD player that supports DivX.
Hook it up to your LCD TV and enjoy!
