Hello everybody,
My name is Flash and I'm new to the computer world. This is my first time on this site and I would like to say hello to everyone. As a new computer user I'm sure you know I have a problem. I can't get my disk drive to read my CD. The message says: D:/ is not accessible or Unable to read Make sure the door is closed
I can't figure it out. I know this sounds juvinile but I have no idea what to do. I just bought a new printer (HP PSC 1600 All-in-one) and can't connect it to my computer. Can anyone please help me

I have windows 98 and aol security edition Le

Hello Flash & Welcome

Unplug your Printer until we find out if your CD-Rom will work.
Look in the Device Manager and see if the CD-Rom is listed and make sure there is no  by it.
You can open Device Manager by double-clicking on the System icon in Control Panel, and choosing the Device Manager tab. It is also accessible by right-clicking on My Computer, selecting Properties, and selecting the Device Manager tab.

If it has a :flowers: by it Right Click it and Remove, Uninstall then Restart your computer.

Did you read the instructions on how to install your printer for Windows 98?
