hello i may jbe in the wrong forum if i am please move me to the correct forum. i am working on a friends computer. i found norman antivirus on this computer. i removed norman with add/remove programs but i still find norman in the services on startup how do i remove these services. i have scanned this computer with rootrepeal and dds. if i need to post the logs please let me know. also i cannot boot into normal mode with xp home sp3. it will bootup fine in safe mode but just sits there in normal mode. i havent tried booting with xp disc and repairing the os yet that is my next step. any help would be appreciated

Norman Antivirus is a legit program so why did you remove it? What anti-virus are you using to replace it?

im replacing it with kaspersky
and i fixed the problem i had to start over by reinstalling windows from boot disk
i have used norman before and it never worked properly for me i have solved all my problems thank you for your time
