Hello everyone, I appreciate all the hard work you put into solving computer problems that zip by the heads of most. Today, I have an interesting little error that needs to be solved.

It happened a few days ago when something happened to my wireless adapter software-wise. It gave me an error message telling me I need to download the .NET Framework v 2.0.50727 to access my applications. I recently rebuilt my computer from a nasty virus and I'm confused at why it didn't crash right away, but I digress.

I downloaded the framework setup from my laptop and transferred it to my desktop via flash drive. I had it installed and I can once again access wireless internet, but a new error messagebox appeared, it is the attachment with this post.

Though it would pop up any from 30 seconds to 2 hours, I ignored it because everything was still working. However, it is hard to play games and WoW when that pops up because no raid wants a tank who stalls and I don't want the game flow to be broken. I thought downloading .NET Framework v 3 (normal, not SP1) would help, but I still get this error.

If there is anything you can do, it will be appreciated. Here are the full details:

OS: Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 2
Wireless Adapter: Linksys Wireless-B PCI WLAN Adapter

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Here's what the error message had to say:

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this

jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

The best/only place that I would use for Microsoft downloads...is the Microsoft website.

I have had problems like this and some times I had to use programs like Revo to completely remove the old Netframe Work completely; (use with caution), and then download from M/S. Some times when you have a little Network hanging around the new download just don't work correctly. I have no idea why this is. In most cases when I download any thing from M/S it seems to work better with I.E. There again I don't know why.

Thanks everyone. Using IE to download v3.5 SP1 was what I needed. Haven't gotten the error since and it's been 2 days now, so I believe I'm in the clear. See ya if I have another problem, which I hope isn't soon.
