Hello,

I am having a problem during start up. This occurred when I got the virus Internet Security 2010. I thought downloading the antivirus programs would fix this error. I don't know what else to do except to cancel it everytime I start my computer. Please let me know what I should do.

FWIW: Local guide, Remove Internet Security 2010 (Uninstall Guide) - http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-remo...t-security-2010.

Is the startup thing...the only anomaly that you know of right now on your system? Everything else works as it should?

Would this be of any help? "The msiexec.exe process may also be running all the time if the Windows Installer service is set to Automatic by mistake." http://www.fileinspect.com/fileinfo/msiexec-exe/

Did you actually use Internet Security removal guide as suggested by Louis?

I did use the Internet Security 2010 removal process described by Louis. I also ran Malwarebytes once more and it came out clean. After doing so I subscribed to Malwarebytes.

OK...let's download/install/run AutoRuns for Windows - http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinte...s/bb963902.aspx.

Once it is installed, open to the Logon tab.

Then...post the items listed on the Logon tab.
