Hi All.
Not sure which forum to put this question.
I have just downloaded CD labeling program{ CD Stomper},and it won't run when I click icon on desktop,
I disabled all my anti spy and malware that I know of and still can't get it to work.

We loaaded this program onto my laptop and it worked { running Vista }. So why can't I run it on my PC
something must be stopping it ,but what.

Your help is much appreciated.

HI garmanma.
Yas lost count of how many times I uninstall/reinstalled, contacked Avery who sent out a newer version and still I can'nt
get the bloody thing to run.

I'm running XP Pro s3. I just can't see what is blocking it from running, nothing seems to be running in the back ground thet I can see.

Does the desktop have any registry monitoring programs like Winpatrol or Spybot S&D's Teatimer function?
Download Process Explorer to both machines

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinte...s/bb896653.aspx

Under file and save as, create a log and print them out
Put them side by side and see what is different between the 2

Could not make a comparison between the two ,laptop does not have hardly any software on it as it has not been used much,
aas for the PC spybot has been uninstalled and no winpatrol,
All I have left is Malawarebytes, and Super antispyware. What else can I look for.

Copy/paste the process list from the desktop computer and let me see if I can see any thing strange
Is the desktop unit also running Vista?

Nothing jumps out to me that points to anything wrong

The one thing I do question is MaxBackServiceInt.exe
Have you recently changed your hard drive and used this application to transfer your applications to the new drive?
I cannot think of anything else, sorry

Hi.
Have opened administrator and tried to run this program but nothing.

Is there not a software that can force a program to open and run, it just seems that I am not the only person who would have a
problem with a program that won't open and run.
