As requested in post http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/ind...topic=28905&hl= I have now enabled all startup items in msconfig and run a new hijackthis log and submitted sysconfig.exe at submit-malware, can anybody now please help me???

Can somebody PLEASE help me fix a problem on my laptop. It runs Windows XP Pro and I have not had any problems for a good year or so with it. However this last week it seems that whatever I try to do is taking ages as though something is running in the background. The CPU light is constantly on, it takes forever to boot up and won't shut down properly either, only getting to the shutting down screen! As I read, I have run various applications to see if anything is found, SpyBot Search & Destroy, Lavasoft Ad-Aware, Bug Doctor and even a-squared but nothing found. I have also run my AVG virus checker and Spy Sweeper and agin nothing found. When I ctrl-alt-delete I see that there are lots of svchost.exe running and iexplore.exe. When I close/kill iexplore.exe, it immediately reloads and agian is hidden but shows on Task Manager. I have also tried booting in Safe Mode and it is still the same. Can anybody PLEASE shed some light on this as I am extremely dependant on my computer and not very IT knowledable when it comes to registry etc entries.
I have run hijackThis and pasted the log below, hoping that somebody can get to the bottom of this for me.
