interactive service dialog detection

This is a message window i am getting it says on the top interactive servise dialog detection.
A program cant display a message on your desktop.
The program may need information or permission to complete a task.
then it gives me 2 options to click on these options are: show me the message or remind me in a few minutes.
show program details when i click on show me program details i get this.


program(s) or device (s) requesting attention.
message title:
program path:C:\program files\sony\network utility\resdll.dll
recived today: febraury 01,2010 1 hour ago
this problem has happened because of partial icompatability with windows.
please contact the program device or manufacture(s) for more information.

im running windows vista home premium, service pack 2.

on a sony viao lap top, 2.00 gb,32 bit operating system.

i hope this is enough info and ty for your help.

i am currently running avg 9.0, i did a scan and it found nothing? maybe avg is not as good as i thought it was, well i ran superanti spyware andit found a trojan that avg did not pick up so went thru with the procedure and rebooted, no more pop up.
I am now thinking about trying out (nod32).

thank you for the reply and the help, if anyone has any comments on nod32 let me know as im interseted in everyones opinion.

Did you try my suggestion?

Also, I can see, some Google reports show your error connected to AVG.
Try to uninstall AVG, using AVG Remover: http://www.avg.com/us-en/download-tools and see, if the error is gone.
