Hello, all. I just discovered this forum. Just in time, too, as I am having problems with the links my search engines give me--they're being redirected to other sites. Very aggravating!

I use a variety of computers. Among them are: two apple (intel) laptops, two thinkpads, an auses notebook, and an old HP desktop (which is badly in need of a tuneup). I don't NEED all these computers but it's handy to have them in various rooms of the house and one in my backpack for school.

So, having introduced myself and my computers, I'm off to the virus forum to whine about my problem. I think it's fairly common and I am looking forward to getting some expert help!

Ciao,

Peter

Hello and welcome to Bleeping Computer.

Please take the time, to browse the New User Orientation forum, to help familiarize yourself with how the board works.

Also, don't forget to check out the Tutorials.
There's a lot of very useful information, in there.

Good luck with your log and please be patient waiting for a response

Browser hijacks are extremely common, and often difficult to avoid.
I am sure BC can help you get rid of the malware.
Cheers,
John
