Hello from a frosty England. I've just joined BP with a view to taking the approved malware removal course but I hope to be some use on the Forum Boards while I'm at it. Briefly, I call myself a Journeyman PC Fixer./ Journeyman is an old English word for an apprentice which seems appropriate since no-one will ever know this subject in its entirety so we're always still learning.

It would be nice to make contact with some folks who've taken or are taking the course. I'm hoping to be a bit more use than I am now down at the TechSupportGuy Forum if I can complete the course so some indication as to whether I have enough years left to do that would be nice.

Oh yes - the name: in this country Lager Louts are people who drink too much strong beer leading to bad behaviour and SAGA is an outfit that does things for old people. Therefore, a Saga Lout is growing old and becoming a little unruly and at 63 and becoming increasingly grumpy with age, the name fits me nicely.

You will no doubt want to read some of the pertinent Tutorials, as well as the security threads. If the HJT class is full, please check back regularly, as spots open as students graduate or leave for the beergarden.
Welcome to BC!
Regards,
John
