I have this daft computer that only seems to have issues no one has ever heard of. Once again, I'ved searched google, and a bunch of forums, with no hits.

Basically, I'll be playing a game and for no apparent reason, the audio will drop or mute completely. A few seconds later it will come back on. This will happen throughout the game, at approximately 30-45 seconds on and 30-45 seconds off. I have had the issue in three games so far, some older some newer, some graffically intense, some lightweight. (Windows Freecell works just fine though, in case your wondering, lmao).

Now, I have concluded that this must be a system setting of some sort. All my drivers and codecs seem fine, and it only happens on ONE user account. I don't know how I screwed it up, but hey, it's me.

Can anyone think of a solution for this, because I am drawing a complete blank. Event Viewer is claiming to be blind at the moment, so, it's no help at all. Since this does not happen on any other account, I doubt it's a hardware issue. Also the games do NOT lag at all, so I doubt it's a memory issue either.
