Hi follow the wizards lead, read everything that comes up let it do a full install. If after it has finished if your Cd does not have sp2 on it the either download it ask microsoft to send you one do all updates, install a good antivirus, read other posts, i use avast its free good and got good backup.

Do Not follow the wizards lead and do a full install or you will have 2 copys loaded.

In order to do a format and clean install you need to boot from the CD.

Go into the BIOS and make sure your CD-Rom is set to boot before your HDD.
http://www.michaelstevenstech.com/bios_manufacturer.htm

Once you boot from the CD then you will foolow the prompts untill you get to the option to Delete, Create, & Partition the drive.
