Hi everyone!

Well, I have happened upon you all while searching for a fix to my computer infection (as the title says). THANK GOD!!

Ok, I have done many scans in my attempts to clean my Vista 32-bit system but I am losing and pulling my hair out in the process!

The list of scanning programs I have used are:

1) Malwarebytes (my regular anti-spyware program)
2) SpyHunter
3) Spyware Doctor
4) Spybot
5) Ad-Aware
6) ESET Nod32 (my regular anti-virus program)

All of them find some stuff, but none of them have fixed the issue. ESET Nod32 still comes up with the threat warning on restart. I have run these programs in safe mode as well, hoping that they might find something extra and get rid of it.

Could you send me in the right direction as to what I need to do next?

Thanks,
Wild32

PS: Now I am having issues with Malwarebytes, it completes its scan and wants to reboot but after I click 'OK' it crashes .. upon restart I get a Runtime Error message for C:\P.. (yes, with those extra dots after the "P") - Weird

Hello,

Sorry for the delay. The forums are quite busy and sometimes things slip past us. I'm not sure, but I suspect the presence of a rootkit. Please follow the instructions in ==>This Guide<==.

Once the proper logs are created, then make a NEW TOPIC and post it ==>HERE<==

If you can produce at least some of the logs, please create the new topic. If you cannot produce any of the logs, then post back here and we will provide you with further instructions.

Orange Blossom
