Hi, can you help me with a problem? I have seen something similar on this forum, but I do not know if it is the same. Every time I try to access anything on the desktop I get this popup:

[Program name here] - Bad Image
The application or DLL C:\Windows\system32\msimg32.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette.

Forgive me if I sound stupid, but I have no idea what is going on. I am able to use Internet Explorer, but that is about it; Most other programs such as BT Broadband, Office and just about anything will not work. I am new to to computers and your help would be much appreciated. Many thanks.
