Howdy,

Any recommendations for free LEGAL movie sites ?

I Googled free movie sites and there are a lot of them. For the most part I can't tell which ones are legal.

Some are pretty obviously illegal such as those offering the movie Avatar.

Thanks for your time.

Hope this is the correct forum ?

Alot of those so called free sites make you go to another site to do some odd ball survey. Those second sites can be loaded with Malware,Spyware or Scareware or worse.

Your best and safest bet is to just sign up to NetFlix.

Thanks for the reply.

I kind of figured as much. I thought there may be a catch to most of them. On the other hand I was thinking that advertising would support some of the free sites and they would be on the up and up. ???

Well if you want to take your chances that is up to you but be sure you wear your internet condoms when you do ie: Firewall,AV,active Malware Scanner and a very secure web browser.

Not looking to get, umm, ah, messed over. :flowers:

That is why I posted the question. I was hoping that there might be a site or two out there in the cyber world that was legit and fairly safe to use.

My expectations are not set to high but I thought I would ask.

Sites offering free movies and legally too ?
Well yes there are sites like Archive.org which offers legally free movies but only old movies for which copyrights have expired or not visible etc. You can also download old TV shows from this web site.

Thanks Romeo29.

I found another Hulu. It too has older movies but that is fine. I would not expect newer releases.
