I was wonder if a game that required like a x2 3.0Ghz processor would run on a x4 with 2.6 Ghz power. I pretty much have no knowledge or experience with them. Help please?

Very likely. If the game requires a dual core CPU, that means that it's multiprocessor aware. Running with twice as many cores, even if those cores individually run 400MHz slower, should be a cake walk.

possibly. not garenteed though-if it needs 3 ghz chances are it needs 3 ghz to run. a lot probably depends on the game. what game are we talking about?

ya that game should run just fine. :D its designed for multi core support, with quad core support as well as dual, I see no problems with it running that. andrews right :D
