Hello,

New to the forum came across it searching for an answer to this problem.

Had a problem with Firefox locking up on me one day and couldn't get it shut down properly and since then I have had the redirect problem as seen so often. Search works but the links take me somewhere else, you guys know the drill.

I changed to Avast and Spybot from what I had before and tied other things along the way.

Windows XP service pack 3 on Acer Aspire one netbook.

I have checked on nonplug n play drives and don't have the TDSS listed
I downloaded and ran Mbam exactly per the instructions here and it found 1 Trojan and I have the log that I can post of that if that is allowed and someone lets me know.
After running mbam and removing selected I restarted computer and still have the problem, what should be me next step?

Thanks so much for your help.
