Hi I bought a new HP p6210y 64-bit PC.
It came with 6 GB RAM installed at 2 GB per memeroy card.
I installed the last stick for a total of 8 GB.

Everywhere I look at a spec for this PC it says it holds a max of 16 GB RAM.

Can this model hold 4 x 4GB sticks??

I included an image from HPs site.

If I upgrade to 16GB what kind of improvements do you think I would see? (Anything considerable?)

Unless you're creating a sequel to "Avatar" movie on your computer, 8 GB should be plenty for any task(s).

technically, however 4 gigabyte DDR2 sticks are hard to come buy and extremely expensive, the last one I saw was like 2-300 dollars per stick. seriously, for a DDR2 system 8 gig is more then enough. If you really REALLY think you need 16 gigs of ram it would probably be just as cheap to upgrade to a DDR3 system.
