Am running COD4 on Win7 with patch v1.7. When in multiplayer in the "find game" screen it does not display servers although it says it's found 400+ servers (hit refresh button several times and also restarted computer). Is this a problem with Win7? or is it something else?

First thing to check is your firewall, make sure its not blocking your COD4.

second thing to check is what the filter set to find? if you have it set to find only a certain type of game (i.e. sabotage or only hardcore) it will only show servers of that game type, even though it will say it found other servers. so if your filter is set to only hardcore sabotoge it may find 400 servers, but if none match the criteria, then it wouldnt show any in the server board.

Have reinstalled game and patches and updated pb. Still did it (12,000+ servers) - none showed. Turned off firewall and it now won't find any servers. Game filter set to default as was always the case. Turned firewall back on and still won't find any servers.

Check your port forwarding on your router. Make sure port 28960 is set to forward on the computer you're playing CoD4 on
