Hi all.. I am really in need of some help or advice please.

My computer keeps rebooting over and over nonstop. It never makes it to the welcome screen. I have tried booting in safe mode and everything still nothing keeps restarting. So I tried to boot from Vista Disk and then I end up with a black screen with a big white cursor.

I have searched and searched and see people with the same problem... but never find anything telling me what I could do to try to fix this.

Thanks in advance for your time. ~ Tory

There is not a whole lot you can do
Do you have a retail Vista disk?
If no, you can burn/order a Knoppix Live CD and use it to retrieve your data
You will then need to reinstall your operating system per your computer manufacturer's directions
Either by the recovery partition or the CD's that came with the computer

why won't my laptop work?

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around
Do not send me PMs with problems that should be posted in the forums. Keep it in the forums, so everyone benefits
