Hello!

I have a Dell Studio XPS M1640 using Windows Vista. (edit: I think I chose the wrong place to post this; I will look for Vista) I am staying with a friend and connected to his network. From the moment I connected to his network I have only been able to access Google/gmail.

I phoned Dell Tech Support and they suspect a virus and tried to log onto my computer remotely in safe mode. They were unable to access my computer. They are pretty sure it's a virus. I'm wondering if there's a simple problem with my network settings. It seems weird that simply switching networks would result in a virus.

Has anyone come across this situation? Thanks.

Down load and run the two programs below, it is likely that you have maleware on your system. Let us know if that clears up the problem.
