As per initial login suggestions, just a hello to the site. I'm a Unix/BSD/Linux guy with limited knowledge on Windows. Got here when my work supplied laptop decided to get whacky, dropped it off with inhouse IT, something about a rootkit "komodo" (had Comodo freeware stuff installed). I figured since I've got a couple of Windows PCs at home (one is the wife's) I need to at least scan them for issues, this looks like a good place for resources and help

FreeBSD since 3.3, only time I touch Windows is to fix my wife's computer

Welcome to BC!
In return for Windows help, perhaps you could help in the Linux forum where your experience and expertise would be welcomed.
