Alright, here's the scenario...... I've already moved to NCSU and have been trying to get myself completely set-up. Unfortunately, the only printer i have to work with is from like 1995, from an OOOOOOOOLD dell we had a long time ago. It's a Canon Bubble Jet BJC-240. The problem is that the setup disks are floppies, and i don't have a floppy drive on my new box (Currently running Windows XP SP2).

I downloaded the appropriate drivers (at least i think they're the ones) that i found on almost every google search for BJC-240 drivers, only i don't know how to install them on my XP machine. They came in 3 folders labeled Disk 1-3, and none of them contain an EXE file. I've never done this before, so it'd be extremely helpful if someone could help me out with the installation

BTW: I'm COMPLETELY broke, so a new printer/external floppy drive are completely out of the question, no matter how cheap (i've seen some for $30, but i don't have $30) That's why i'm using a prehistoric-printer....

How about trying the Add New Hardware in control panel, having it search for drivers from those folders?

When you ADD NEW PRINTER select have disk , then browse to the drivers. The install will look for .inf files. XP may not reconize the older files.
