Hello,

I have NEVER been in a forum like this before and I'm not sure what to do, so thopefully you can give me some answers. I am very untech and I have been worrying myself sick over the IS2010 virus. What does it do in my computer? Did it read my files etc.?

Let me tell you what happened. I was searching for a way to fix my heater and the windows for IS 2010 popped up and kept popping up. I X them closed and decided that it must be a new virus, so I updated my AVG unplugged the internet connection and ran a scan, nothing showed up, so I ran Spybot, it didn't find anything either. So being very un--tech, I took it to the shop and they removed the virus.

They told me that my operating system would not run and they needed my discs that came with my computer. I just brought it home and really haven't decided whether to fix it or not. What my worry is some sensitive info that I may have in a deleted document. I erased the document saved it, deleted and I think emptied the recycle bin, not sure though. I also paid my bills using my credit card a couple of hours before the windows started popping up.

Does this virus just try to get my credit card when I order the "anti-virus" it offers? What is it's purpose? Please help me!
