In the first place my PC was starting to run a little slow, especially at start up.
Then my antivirus expired (Norton) and I acquired AntiVirus 2010.
At that point I installed Rkill and Malwarebytes and ran those two programs over and over in the 'Safe' mode and I believe I got rid of the problem.
I then un-installed all my Norton products and installed AVG 9.0.
I ran two scans and found some Trojans and Add-ware. I know I should have saved them to show you, but I didn't.
After the last scan, nothing showed up.

I've emptied all the cookies and temp files and Internet files.

After that being done I believe my computer is slower then before.

I'm running XP Service PAC 3
Dell Dimension 3000
512MB Virtual Memory
131.89 Available This seems to change daily. In Safe Mode I have 335.48 MB

I hope I haven't missed anything.

I shut down Windows firewall and not sure of what to do next.
