Hello encryptr,

To remove the combofix.exe all you have to do it right click on it and delete it if you have never run ComboFix before. This is an executable file and all that is needed to remove it is a right click/delete. If you have run it before you would use it's uninstall switch.

also recently i had posted a new post waited a few days, but no response so i posted another about the same thing and was sent a message about double posting! im new to forums so im not a complete wiz at this. but anywayz they deleted both my postings so i couldnt get a reply on either one i need one for help on malware removal. i would also like to know about a few programs and how safe they are

Regarding any previous post you may have made here at Bleeping Computer, I see you have only posted once. I am unsure how any posts could disappear as the count would still show the proper amount regardless if they were deleted. I can only figure this could be a glitch somehow. Please feel free to post again what you had previously if it is not covered here

It is pretty common to have the End Program dialogue box show itself.. it simply means that the program it refers to was still running when you opted to shut down. ccapp may refer to CCleaner. Do you have CCleaner installed? If this is so, go into the CCleaner settings and uncheck any option for it to start when windows starts and see if that stops the end program dialogue box.

Hello,

I've moved your DDS log to the HiJack This forum where it belongs. The reason you couldn't attach the other logs is because you weren't in the Hijack This forum.

Now that you have posted a log here: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/290468/malware-problems-not-sure-which-ones/ you should NOT make further changes to your computer (install/uninstall programs, use special fix tools, delete files, edit the registry, etc) unless advised by a HJT Team member, nor should you ask for help elsewhere. Doing so can result in system changes which may not show in the log you already posted. Further, any modifications you make on your own may cause confusion for the helper assisting you and could complicate the malware removal process which would extend the time it takes to clean your computer.

From this point on the HJT Team should be the only members that you take advice from, until they have verified your log as clean.

Please be patient. It may take a while to get a response because the HJT Team members are EXTREMELY busy working logs posted before yours. They are volunteers who will help you out as soon as possible. Once you have made your post and are waiting, please DO NOT make another reply until it has been responded to by a member of the HJT Team. Generally the staff checks the forum for postings that have 0 replies as this makes it easier for them to identify those who have not been helped. If you post another response there will be 1 reply. A team member, looking for a new log to work may assume another HJT Team member is already assisting you and not open the thread to respond.

Please be patient. It may take several days, up to two weeks perhaps less, to get a response but your log will be reviewed and answered as soon as possible. I advise checking your topic once a day for responses as the e-mail notification system is unreliable.

To avoid confusion, I am closing this topic. Good luck with your log.
