Firstly, Happy New Year to y'all at Bleeping Computer!

Issue: I was using my computer lastnight when suddenly the pc hanged, not the normal 'hard drive is busy' hang...There was no movement. I restarted the computer but ever since the restart it even hangs at the logon screen. Got to enter my password once but it still hangs right after showin me my desktop wallpaper n taskbar with a few apps starting up. I tried disabling every startup item (using safe mode) but no success with that. I'm even typing this now from the OS's safe mode :flowers:

Importantly I have Windows XP 32bit and Windows 7 64bit installed. They run fine for hours so I know its not a hardware issue.

Please I'm asking for your professional help as soon as possible. :trumpet:
