Hello All,

Lately, I've noticed that some programs that try to update themselves (not by opening a browser) get an error box stating that they are unable to connect. Even if I hit the update button. I tried turning off my security programs ie: Eset Smart Security, WinPatrol, SpywareBlaster. Still not connecting. Some programs won't even install properly if they have to check with their server for the license key. Otherwise, I'm able to connect through my browser and email.

I posted on malware removal, and with the help of Elise025, it was determined that malware wasn't the problem.

Any help will be appreciated
