I guess I deserve this one for downloading a sketchy torrent...

After I had clicked on an authcode generating program for a plugin I recently installed, I noticed something strange going on performance-wise. Being safe, I shut off my wireless connectivity and my computer came back to life. Shortly after I got a notice from Symantec Endpoint Protection stating a program (SAPMI_VCSTATS.EXE) had tried to terminate the Symantec protection. To make the matters worse, my firewall didn't notify me of anything and it could have gotten to my Tower PC on the same network.

I ran a MalwareBytes AntiMalware seemingly unsuccessfully and have attached the log.
I have also attached a HijackThis report.
Sorry if both of these are unneccessary.

My first attempt to RootRepeal scan gave the following error:
ROOTREPEAL CRASH REPORT
-------------------------
Windows Version: Windows Vista SP1
Exception Code: 0xc0000005
Exception Address: 0x0041102f
Attempt to read from address: 0x2bce4c4a

The second scan gave these errors:
00:46:45: DeviceIoControl Error! Error Code = 0xc000009a
00:46:45: Could not read system registry! Please contact the author!

I have attached the results of the second scan.

I'd like to get rid of this without reformatting if possible.

Thanks.

[EDIT]:
I activated Windows security center again, and installed Spybot SD with TeaTimer to prevent anymore registry changes.
Restarted the computer for changes to take place.
My Symantec Endpoint Protection started blocking ALOT of traffic from ntoskrnl.exe when connected to the internet.
I did uncheck these boxes on my firewall however:
Browse files and printers on the network.
Share my files and printers with others on the network.
But my other computer was not attached to the network at that time.

My computer then randomly displayed a sketchy blue screen saying something about Hardware changes (Haven't made any), crashed and I was asked on reboot if I wanted to reboot normally.

I have attached the most current scans. (Labelled SCAN 2)'

Thanks again.
[/EDIT]

Thanks and again sorry for the delay.

We need to see some information about what is happening in your machine. Please perform the following scan:
  • Download DDS by sUBs from one of the following links. Save it to your desktop.
  • Double click on the DDS icon, allow it to run.
  • A small box will open, with an explaination about the tool. No input is needed, the scan is running.
  • Notepad will open with the results.
  • Follow the instructions that pop up for posting the results.
  • Close the program window, and delete the program from your desktop.
Please note: You may have to disable any script protection running if the scan fails to run. After downloading the tool, disconnect from the internet and disable all antivirus protection. Run the scan, enable your A/V and reconnect to the internet.
