just got handed a laptop to fix and it has m1000mnt.exe running from registry start up. there doesn't seem to be any info on the net as they say it is new. apparently looks like some type of logger. has anyone else run into it yet ?

did some more digging in the laptop and it seems that it is for a USB Web Camera. Malwarebytes does not see it as malicious so i guess it stays.

Hey Caperdog,

I Did a search and found that some people have reported that spyware and adware can mask themselves under this file name as shown: here

it could be that or it could be a legitimate program but i would just check to be sure.
