I have a program that takes a lot o processing power to run. I only want it to run when I am at home. so I am wondering if there is anyway I can set it up to load that program when connected to that wifi router. like it checks that name and if the name is something load the program. it doesn't matter to me if it can only do this at boot. I would just like the convenience.

knowing my luck it isn't invented yet.

Yes, you can use the Task Scheduler (just use the Start Menu search to find it easily) to schedule a task to start only when a specific internet connection is available.

You can set the trigger for the task based on lots of different conditions: at a specific time (scheduled), at the log on of any user, etc.....and to make sure it only runs when your computer is connected to your home's wireless router, check the box: "Start only if the following network connection is available", and make sure your network is the chosen one in the drop down menu.

Is that what you were looking for?
