it all started with notebook (asus eee pc) saying had been asked to abort in untimely manner. when it rebooted i got an error message saying c:/windows/system32... has received an illegal instruction followed by an IP address. i chose close to abort, but then google chrome would not work. i got help from your chat people and run Avast then malware mbam. there were more than 40 infected files. now the scan shows clean, google chrome is working, but keeps crashing and also when i click on links in the google search results i get redirected to other web sites. your chat help suggested i might have rootkit infection and i should post on forum. i followed all your steps on the preparation guide. Here is my log
