An new icon has appeared on my desktop labled PEV. What is it and how do I get rid of it?

Right-click on the icon...select Properties...post the parent for the shortcut, if a shortcut.

Right-click, select Properties and see/post what info is displayed, if not a shorcut.

Apparently the icon was from a virus pev.exe.
I deleted both the icon & the file attached thnaks
