Ok. This is the computer I have: http://www.dealtime.com/xPF-Gateway-Gatewa...5220-Desktop-PC

I've had it for several years. Could someone tell me what I would need to upgrade to play games such as Fallout 3? From looking at http://cyri.systemrequirementslab.com/srtest/ it is telling me I need an upgrade of ram and a new video/graphics card. I have not upgraded one thing on this computer so all the info you need is in the first link. Could someone suggest a cheaper video card that would work and a cheaper ram upgrade that would work? Thanks.

What resolution an settings did you want to run the game at? That will determine how much videocard you need.

I guess whatever normal quality is. Whenever I run fallout 3, I can't even run it on low quality(plays in the vault choppy and crashes when I get into the wasteland). So basically a decent video card that is capable at running games such as Fallout 3, Call of duty series or even stuff like dragon age: origins on normal quality. I also need a RAM upgrade.

Ok, one more time. What resolution are you currently running at, what resolution do you want to run at?

Running a game at 640X480 vs 1920X1200 is a whole different ball game. Let us know how many pixels you have to push.

Ideally, something like this:

Memory:
Kingston 2GB X 2 = $84

Graphics Card:

ATI HD4670 - Under $80 (Brands: Sapphire, Powercolor, MSI, HIS)
OR
Nvidia 9600GT - $80 ~ $100 (Brands: XFX, Gigabyte, Zotac, ASUS)

PSU: Corsair 400CX ~ $55

Notes:
* With the above config, you should be able to game at 1680X1050 with ease.
* Make sure you have enough space to accommodate the graphics card
