I was recently infected by a rogue virus (Security Defender 2009) which kept telling me that my system was infected and that I needed to purchase their program. None of the anti-spyware programs will load. I've tried renaming the files and the extensions, and downloading them from a jump drive but to no avail. My current system/infected system is XP Pro 2002, SP 3. I'm working off of a laptop with the same setup and can download items to a jump drive and run on the infected computer.
Please help!
