Ok, besides Adobe, which is exorbidantly expensive, does anyone know of a good real time MP3, WMA, etc., editor that includes an E.Q. that works worth a darn? I've downloaded and tried several, and they've all sucked. I don't mind spending a few bucks if it means I can edit/EQ my music before it goes into my MP3 player.

Thanks!!

Yeah, that was the first one I tried. What I'm trying to do is E.Q. the songs while they're playing and then save the changes; that's it. I'm not a DJ or even a professional sound engineer. But WMP is useless for editing and saving. It's got a great E.Q. but doesn't save changes to the file. Like I said, I don't mind paying a few bucks if I can find one that will do this.

I was also very sure that Audacity could do that.

No, Audacity has this preset thing wherein you can only choose from a list of preset sounds. It also doesn't let you edit in real time, as in while the song is playing, you can adjust the bands of the E.Q. With Audacity, as with many other programs I've tried, you have to stop the song, apply the preset, and then restart the song in order to find out if it sounds the way you want it to. It also doesn't support WMA.
