IE & Firefox browsers are both being redirected. Also, both are now very slow loading taking over 1 minute to load. These issues started on Jan 15 about the same time I removed an infection of the Internet Security 2010 malware using PC Tools Spyware Docter with AntiVirus v 7.0.0.514.
I am using:
Win XP Pro v2002 SP3
IE 8 v8.0.6001.18702
Firefox v3.5.7

Your help will be appreciated.
Thank you

I have not had a response on this post in over 2 weeks so I have re-posted in another forum.
Wonder what was the reason this post was never responded to????

I can only speculate why you haven't recv'd any replies to your post, and speculation (at best) offers only a 50/50 chance of being right.

Try reading this: Before you post about a problem, Some simple guidelines
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/18366/before-you-post-about-a-problem/

here could be any number of reasons that you don't receive a reply to your post. One of the most frequent is a lack of information. If you post a reply to your previous post with additional info it will come back to the top of the list of topics as well as the forum that it is in. You can also send a PM to a Moderator with a link to it and ask them to have a look at your post. Most of us will try to help in that situation.

Another topic which may yield helpful information for you is: Slow Computer?, Use this troubleshooting checklist

This site has a list of freeware applications:

And there is good information in this topic:

If we don't change the direction we are going,
We are likely to end up where we are headed.
