I'm set on buying a new laptop, but don't know where to begin to get the best bang for my buck. Everytime I customize one on HP or Dell's site it always ends up over one thousand dollars. I'm frustrated. Thanks in advance for your help!

My budget for the new computer is: a max of $900

What are the primary uses for this computer (IE: mail, web browsing, programming, games, etc)? mail, web browsing, streaming TV/movies, downloading music/movies, no gaming (except for silly games like on Facebook)

What software do you intend on using on the computer? JAWS for Windows Screen Reading Software, CD/DVD burning software, Anti Virus, Anti Adware, CCleanr.

Do you play games? If so, what type of games? No, just silly games like on Facebook

Do you tend to have a lot of programs running at the same time, or do you close every program when you are done using it? Yes

Do you store a lot of pictures or music on the computer? No
