Hi guys appreciate you taking the time out to take a look at everyones stuff myself included.

a couple things 1st.

i recently have been dealing with rootkit.tdss now i had a couple of other stupid clingers that came with it you know the ones antivirus 2009 stuff and programs like that but i'm pretty certain i've gotten rid of all of thsoe ones still dealing with rootkit though and possibly some dead hooks or what not. Anyway though...

Alot of anti virus programs won't even boot combofix gets errors everytime i try to load it up i've tried 3 different links including 1 from yours and re-downloaded it 3 times so whether its corrupt or not i don't know pretty sure malwares stifling alot of the antivirus stuff i'm trying to use..

Ieventually got MAM (malwarebytes anti malware) to actually work..ugh had to go through a process with that change the name change the properties so it'd think it was booting from windows 2000 whatever anyway i finally got that to work and superanti spyware and i had thought i had gotten rid of it for the most part...

but i still get numerous errors while browsing the internet some programs decide they won't start..i can't even get zonealarm to install and aside from all that my task manager has no top to it..the only thing you can see when i hit ctrl alt del is a white box with whatever apps i have up at the time i can't even x it out because theres no top to it! so i have to alt f4 to get rid of it..ugh what a pain...

anyway thats the majority of the symptoms i think i'm on to something though i was browsing around with some other programs like icesword and what not to try to find the "hidden" files that tdss is so notoriuos for i even went into the device manager and had it reveal all hidden devices hoping to find it in the non plug program area but to no avail.....

as i said though i thing superanti spyware and MAM had for the most part iced it becuase they don't pick it up anymore so i start doing some scanning with RootRepeal and i picked up this file here...
h8srtpbjwbmqpxui.sys
Pretty certain thats not supposed to be in there infact i know its not i didn't want to just kill it though if that would even solve the problem completely until i spoke to one of you guys i'd like to get rid of this thing for good its a pain..

I ran RootRepal and its telling me ( The number of ssdt entries from the kernal and the number on disk are different 297 and 294) anyway heres the reports starting with HIJACKTHIS , dds, then rootrepeal

Hello and welcome to Bleeping Computer

We apologize for the delay in responding to your request for help. Here at Bleeping Computer we get overwhelmed at times, and we are trying our best to keep up. Please note that your topic was not intentionally overlooked. Our mission is to help everyone in need, but sometimes it takes just a little longer to get to every request for help. No one is ignored here.

If you have since resolved the original problem you were having, we would appreciate you letting us know. If not please perform the following steps below so we can have a look at the current condition of your machine.

If you have not done so, include a clear description of the problems you're having, along with any steps you may have performed so far.

Upon completing the steps below another staff member will review and take the steps necessary with you to get your machine back in working order clean and free of malware.

If you have already posted a DDS log, please do so again, as your situation may have changed.
Use the 'Add Reply' and add the new log to this thread.

Thanks and again sorry for the delay.

We need to see some information about what is happening in your machine. Please perform the following scan:
  • Download DDS by sUBs from one of the following links. Save it to your desktop.
  • Double click on the DDS icon, allow it to run.
  • A small box will open, with an explaination about the tool. No input is needed, the scan is running.
  • Notepad will open with the results.
  • Follow the instructions that pop up for posting the results.
  • Close the program window, and delete the program from your desktop.
Please note: You may have to disable any script protection running if the scan fails to run. After downloading the tool, disconnect from the internet and disable all antivirus protection. Run the scan, enable your A/V and reconnect to the internet.

Information on A/V control HERE
regards,
schrauber
