New to combofix and this forum. OS is XP Pro SP3. Booted to safe mode. Disabled Mcafee. Executed Combofix. Prompted to install the Windows console and accepted. The software ran for a min then displayed a rootkit message and wanted to reboot. System locked up and will not reboot. Happens to be locked up on the screen that warns user to let combofix handle the reboot, and to NOT manually reboot.

So here I am. Any and all assistance is truly appreciated.

Ideas?
