I run Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit. I just acquired a copy of Lode Runner 2. The level editor runs, but when I try to run the game, it crashes instantly. Like, you get the "lr2.exe has stopped working" box, and the option to check for a solution online or just close it. The error is APPCRASH. I've tried:

- Exempting it from DEP (Data Execution Prevention)

- Running in all compatibility modes except Windows NT and Server 2003, and running as admin.

- Running in safe mode.

-Moving the game folder to C:\ instead of C:\program files (x86)

- DOSBox

- A virtual machine (It failed; see my thread in software, all others forum, or whatever it's called.)

- And yes, I restarted my dadburned computer...

Ideas, folkses? Thanks y'all!
