Hi There,

I recently installed IE8 and when I went to restart my laptop, it brought me to a startup screen in which it ran a "personalized setting message" that seems to have locked my laptop. I can see my wallpaper but nothing else on the screen except the message. The message on the "personalized setting" is RunDLL32IEDKCS32.DLL,BrandIE4 SIGNUP. What do I do? I need this laptop for work!!

Thanks,

Did you try Safe Mode, or "Last known good configuration"?

Last known configuration didn't work and initially it was preventing safe mode but I eventually got safe mode to work and the laptop is back up and running.
